The story behind CAS Football
CAS Football was born from an experience lived on the inside of the pitch. Carlos Salom spent more than two decades as a professional footballer, competing in Argentina, Chile, Peru, Mexico, Thailand, India, and Italy. Along that journey, he navigated very different locker rooms, fields, and cultures, but always with the same certainty: the right equipment makes the difference.
Over time, that accumulated experience turned into something more than memories. It turned into expertise. Into the ability to know what truly works on the pitch, what materials withstand the demands of competition, and what products deserve a player's trust.
CAS Football is the result of that career path. A brand created not from an office, but from the direct experience of someone who knows football because they have lived it.
Experience on the pitch
Carlos Antonio Salom is an Argentine center-forward born in Corrientes in 1987. Throughout his career, he wore the shirts of clubs such as Sacachispas, Barracas Central, Olimpo, All Boys, Unión Española, Deportes Concepción, Cienciano, Puebla, Bangkok United, and Chennaiyin, among others.
With Unión Española, he played over 100 matches and scored 130 goals. In Italy, his last stint as a professional, he proved that quality has no expiration date: 27 goals in 31 matches with Castanese in the 2023-24 season, and 18 goals in 28 matches with Tritium in 2024-25.
That experience—lived in seven countries and against varying levels of demand—is what shapes CAS Football. We know football because we have lived it from the inside.
